While the "crowd" was small and intimate, we thought of it a success. A huge thank you to the brave souls that came out for this evening's "Show and Tell" 2015 chapter. We are sure we will grow and continue sharing and enjoying the stories behind those fibre items we cherish, those we can tell a story and/or history... It proved, most of us have them in our homes and are proud to share. The opportunity also lent itself to get to know each a little bit, making new friends.

Mary Mickelson explained about the material of the loon and how her late husband accomplished the work as well as Arnold being the first artist in the region, further elaborating in her her book, available at the varios local libraries or for sale at Mind and Matter Gallery. A treasure indeed!
Strong memories of her artist paraplegic sister were on Jean Truman's mind last night. Delightful!
